Description

Parts made from polyamide 12 powder are also white but are free of color pigments and appear slightly more translucent. This material can be approved for contact with food (FDA, 21 CFR) and its other properties are similar to PA 2200 – strength, rigidity and good chemical resistance.

Tensile modulus: 1700 MPa
Tensile strength: 48 MPa
Strain at break: 15%

Thermal properties
Melting temperature (20°C/min): 176°C³

Physical properties
Density (lasersintered): 930 kg/m³³
